Together for Sustainability in Youth Soccer<\/strong><\/h2>

The Waldkicker Tournament 2026<\/strong> impressively showed how athletic ambition and social commitment can be combined. Under the motto “We’re looking for Germany’s most sustainable soccer team,”<\/em> around 50 youth teams in the U7 to U10 age groups competed this season to impress not only on the field but also off it. <\/p>

At the heart of the tournament were sustainable projects in children’s soccer<\/strong>. Whether tree-planting campaigns, collective litter collection, or organizing carpools\u2014each initiative earned valuable points in the competition and taught the young players how important environmental awareness is in everyday life. This made the tournament far more than a sporting competition: It became a real learning ground for responsibility and team spirit. <\/p>

A Special Children’s Soccer Event in Frankfurt<\/strong><\/h3>

On May 3, 2026, the grand final round of the tournament took place at Eintracht Frankfurt’s maxworx Sportpark. This children’s soccer event in Frankfurt<\/strong> marked the highlight of a season full of commitment and dedication. A total of eight qualified youth teams from all over Germany, plus two wildcard teams, competed in exciting matches for the title. <\/p>

The finals were held in two age groups and offered spectators numerous thrilling encounters. Despite the competitive spirit, fun always remained the priority. The enthusiasm was clearly felt among both the young players and the spectators, creating a special atmosphere on and off the field. <\/p>

Commitment, Fairness, and Big Emotions<\/strong><\/h3>

Even though the good cause was at the center, all teams gave their all and impressed with team spirit, fairness, and passion. It’s precisely this combination that makes a soccer tournament with a focus on sustainability and the environment<\/strong> so special: It connects athletic performance with important social values. <\/p>

After a long and eventful tournament day, the winner was finally determined: JSG Aach Butzweiler secured the title and was crowned Waldkicker Champion 2026. A well-deserved success for a team that impressed both athletically and in the area of sustainability. <\/p>
